IAMX - MUSIC PEOPLE

At last! It is released! The mega-international fan video several months in the making by 23 super creative IAMX fans from all over the world. We are X. We are Music People. I wish to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated! Thank you for all your time, energy, enthusiasm, creativity and talent, you BEAUTIFUL FREAKS. Never before have I felt so proud to be part of the IAMX fan community than I am now, and as a filmmaker I am astounded at what we were able achieve armed with only a Facebook group, an email account, and a free upload client. You all inspire me, and I am eternally amazed at how many bonds and friendships IAMX helps form. Thank you as well to Chris Corner and the rest of the band for inspiring all of us and, most importantly, making us think. Two people even, out on holiday and without computer access, sent in pictures and videos of themselves taken with a cellphone, all glittered up and insane... Sitting behind our bright monitors, we need to realize that using technology is a double-edged sword - yes, it can poison our minds but it can also bridge barriers in ways unimaginable back in the days when we were children, when our flourishing imaginations began to blossom... Incredible talent and dedication delivered through a mere wire in a wall. On a closing note, I encourage other IAMX fans to get creative and see what they can do - whether it be art, film, photography, sculpting, or whatever you can conjure! Let what is dear to your heart inspire you most, and may you get carried away in your own imagination and spark your inner talents.
