Insects to be allowed as food as early as July in Singapore

Singapore could allow the sale of certain insects as food as early as July, according to restaurants and potential farms which were recently briefed by local authorities. The country first mooted the idea of rearing insects as food in 2022 and sought public feedback on a set of draft food safety regulations.
