Scarlatti Sonata in D K 443 ABRSM Grade 8 2021

Such a wonderful piece. A fanfare, brief lyricism, then a persistent idea that almost cannot be relinquished, stabbing at a dissonant cloud that unleashes a sinister parade of masked figures, only to be swept away in a blast of ornaments.
