This is dedicated to Mark Craney, master drummer for Gino Vannelli in 1978 on the Brother To Brother album and the following tour. I loved drumming to this album in my very early teen years and still find some of the songs very challenging to play accurately. Mark Craney was an inventive and an underrated drummer who’s drumming style had a big influence on my playing and development. He had the timing of a Swiss watch. His Gretsch toms always sounded deep and powerful, and his black label Paiste 2002 hi hat
