Scania R580 sound with locomotive horn!!

This beautifully presented R580 is seen leaving Polegate services on the A22 in East Sussex on August 16th 2017. Twin exhaust stacks are fitted along with straight-through side pipes, alternated via a change-over valve downstream of the turbo. Power output of the 16-litre V8 as standard is 580bhp and 2000lb-ft of torque. This truck has Scania’s 14-speed gearbox fitted and has covered over million KM. For the unwary, a 2-tone locomotive style airhorn lives under the cab!!! My over-excited colleague in the foreground at the end certainly liked this! My very boring fleet-spec 440bhp MAN TGX is seen at the start of the video.........
