Algie The Miner (1912 silent film)

This rare silent film from 1912 is much talked about but rarely seen. Here it is in its entirity. Billy Quirk plays a young man (Algie) who is, to say the least, rather effiminate. He is sent to the wild west to prove himself a real man in order to have the hand of the girl he loves! Directed by Alice Guy-Blache.
