Ceramic Art by Marek Jacisin

Most of this work was done in the last 15 years. My primary material is earthenware and terra cotta clay. I am using slabs of clay, usually layered on top of each other. I cut the design from the top layer with exacto knife. Sometimes I make mold from the original tiles and make slipcasted copies. A lot of my inspiration comes from architecture. I travel around the world with my eyes wide open. I am walking down the streets constantly taking pictures with my camera or most of the time just eyes. I capture
