GAME RECAP: Penguins at Rangers () | Crosby Secures 18th-Straight Point-Per-Game Season

The Penguins hit the road for the first of two-consecutive games against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Mika Zibanejad scored first for the Rangers, and the 1st period ended 1-0. In the middle frame, Rickard Rakell scored for the Penguins with an assist from Sidney Crosby. Crosby recorded his 82nd point of the season, ensuring that he will average a point per game for the 18th time in his 18-year career. In NHL history, only Gretzky (19) has more point-per-game seasons than Crosby. Later in the period, The Rangers took back the lead with a goal from Tyler. In the 3rd period, Jake Guentzel scored for the Penguins, his 30th goal of the season. This is the third time in his career Jake has reached this milestone. The Rangers take back the lead with a goal from Chris Kreider. With less than a minute left in the game, Kreider scored again for the Rangers solidifying their 4-2 win.
