GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Flyers () | Crosby Chalks Up 4-Point Game

For the fourth and final time in the 2023-24 regular season, the Pittsburgh Penguins faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday afternoon. Minutes into the game, the Flyers struck first on a shot by Travis Sanheim. The Penguins responded. Rickard Rakell shot the puck on net from the point. Bryan Rust tipped the shot and Sidney Crosby collected the rebound and put the puck in the back of the net, tying the game. Following their first goal, Rust scored his fifth goal in seven games. On another shot from the point, this time by Marcus Pettersson, Rust tipped the puck again. This time his redirection of the puck went around the Flyer goaltender to give the Penguins a one-goal lead by the end of the 1st. The Flyers got a quick goal once again to start the 2nd period by Tyson Foerster tying the game at two goals each. The Penguins later received a power-play opportunity in the 2nd.
