UNOHANA RETSU! Or how she named herself, Unohana Yachiru! I’ve been waiting for this to get animated ever since I read it all those years ago. And it DID NOT DISSAPOINT!! Don’t worry! Zaraki Kenpachi will get his own tribute! Popular discussion surrounding the war and Unohana: I actually believe Unohana could’ve been crazy useful in the war against the Quincy. I know she couldn’t use her bankai but she wasn’t the first Kenpachi for nothing. But looking at what “Kenpachi” means and that she was the only one that could awaken Zaraki, it’s understandable. I do believe Yamamoto would reck both Unohana and Zaraki though hahah, but that’s a different debate.
