Could There Be A 13th Note?

Build a website for free with Wix: It’s a question that’s plagued theorists since time immemorial... Nah, just kidding, it’s a goofy thing I decided to play around with to see what would happen. But still! What would happen if we added a 13th note to the octave? Can we do that? Would it work? Or would it be a pointless exercise in futility? Or maybe both, who knows.
