Craft With Me Tutorial - Polymer Clay Image transfer Part 1 / LASER PRINTER ONLY!

#Polymerclay #imagetransfer #polymerclayart My two worlds collide in this super fun project using vintage book illustrations and polymer clay! With a minimal amount of supplies (less than $20) and no experience needed, you can make beautiful DIY wall hangings, tags Etc. with professional looking results. It’s fun, it’s creative and it’s addicting. Polymer clay bakes in your own oven or a toaster oven, so it’s a project anyone can do at home. This is typical of the type of class I run at Wild Salamander Arts Center & a perfect project to do while stuck inside during a worldwide pandemic. ;-) I found the images you see on the Public Domain Website: *IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU MUST USE IMAGES PRINTED ON A LASER PRINTER USE REGULAR PRINTER PAPER - NOT PHOTO PAPER If you have an inkjet printer, watch my video and then adapt the project using one of these techniques designed for inkjet printers: Materials Needed: Shape Cookie Cutters Sculpey original white clay ( I recommend a 1lb box or a minimum of three 2oz bricks) Images printed on regular printer paper (not photo paper) Water Toothpick or straw to make holes and/or pop bubbles in clay Ceramic Tile (from Home Depot, Lowe’s or any big box store) DuraClear Satin Varnish and brush to apply it Twine, string or yarn Optional Materials Nail Art Stylist or any ball tip stylist Acrylic Paint - Metallic Gilding Wax Cheap Metallic Eye Shadow ( in place of wax) Beads Natural Elements with holes drilled in them BioDiversity Library can be found UPDATE DECEMBER 1, 2020 I’ve created a follow up to this video using this same technique to make Holiday Ornaments and Tags. This project and class is perfect for Adults and Teens, and I believe a parent could do this with a younger child as a parent-child activity, however this video was not intended as a child class.
