The Welsh ATLANTIS: Is There Another LOST Kingdom Under the Sea? | Ancient Architects Investigates

We all know there are many myths of lost sunken continents, islands and landmasses around the world, from Plato’s story of Atlantis to the Indian Dwarka, Mu, Hy Brasil and Hyperborea and I think for many of us, it’s a subject that really does excite the imagination. In this video, I discuss something far less well-known than Plato’s Atlantis, so much so that I hadn’t even heard of it until just recently, and that is the ‘Welsh Atlantis’, the name of which is Cantre’r Gwaeload, which means ‘The Lowland Hundred’ in English - a lost kingdom under Cardigan Bay to the west of Wales. But is there really a lost kingdom under the sea? In this video, Ancient Architects investigates all the evidence, the ancient writings, myths, legends and songs, the physical evidence including dozens of tree stumps of an ancient forest on the Welsh shoreline, the causeways going out into the water as well as eyewitness accounts.
