Indeterminate tomatoes require proper pruning for the quality of fruit. Although indeterminate variety would still give large quantity of fruit but pruning them would give you best quality in terms of size and flavor. Here is a video of pruning tomatoes , all you need to know how to prune tomatoes like a pro. All you need to do is to remove the suckers ( a branch between main branch and extended branch this sucker can be planted in different pots and will produce fruit too ) . Cut the extended leaf branches to half and keep the fruiting branch fully intact. Make sure your scissors are disinfected ， tomatoes are too sensitive to any erosions and once you prune them this way do not water them for a day , let the wounds heal, it takes 24 tomb 48 hours for them to heal the wounds, I sprinkle turmeric powder on the wounds that powder reduces the danger of getting disease into the plant through wounds.
