Switzerland: Rimac’s €870,000 electric supercar claims to blow Tesla away

Croatian automobile company Rimac unveiled its new Concept One electric supercar at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in the western Swiss city of Geneva, Tuesday. Only eight models of the car will be built with six having already be sold at a price of £675,605 (around €870,000). The Rimac Concept One employs a two-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, connected to each of the four independently driven wheels, boasting 1,088bhp and capable of top speeds of 220mph (355kph), reaching 0-60mph (0-100kph) in 2.6 seconds.
