05-22-2024 Temple, TX - Lightning-Ignited House Fire, Tornado Damaged Neighborhoods

There was also a house fire that was likely caused by lightning which was frequent at the time. Powerful winds brought visibility to near-zero and traffic to a standstill on TX highway 36 just north of Belton Lake.
