Ghost Animation in ProCreate (2D frame-by-frame animation + Original Music)

MY FIRST ANIMATION EVER!! 👻🎃🕯️ This is a short 2D frame-by-frame Ghost Animation that I made a few days ago in @procreate For the background of this little cartoon I chose a piece of my artwork that I’d previously made for the Chapter 5 (Flick) of my book, replaced a few objects in it and sprinkled with some animation magic 🧂🤏🏻🧙🏻‍♀️ I know it’s not perfect - some things look quite nice while some other don’t look exactly like they are supposed to 😅, but every journey always has to start from the beginning, and now I feel like I’m one step closer to my dream that I’ve had since my childhood - create my own animated musicals!!! At this point I can’t promise you that I will make animations frequently as it’s a pretty meticulous process and takes a lot of time to create (for example, this simple 27-second-long animation took me a week to make), but I really enjoyed the process, even though I had to draw every single frame by hand […hardcore never bothered me anyway… 🥶], and I already have plans (and even started a storyboard 🤫) for a bit longer cartoon about one of my Shadow Monsters - guess about which one? 🙃 Let’s see if this year also brings me an opportunity to give my characters their own voices… 🤞🏻🎙️ As always, all art and music in this piece are made by yours truly :) You can find this composition anywhere where you listen to music by searching for “Roxana Line - Hardworking Crickets” Stay tuned and check back for more GloomyAnimation 👻🎃 Music in this video: Roxana Line - Hardworking Crickets © 2021
