How the Indian Ocean Geoid Low formed on Earth

This video shows the evolution of gravitational anomalies in the Indian Ocean over the past 140 million years. Red and blue indicates high and low points, respectively. Cross sections of the ocean (cut southwest to north east, and south to north) are shown below (A, B). The present-day Indian Ocean geoid low can be seen off the tip of India.
