Quantum enhanced sensing and imaging with single spins in diamond - Fedor Jelezko
Recorded from IQC’s NanoMRI conference 2015.
Fedor Jelezko from Ulm University discusses recent developments transforming quantum control tools into quantum technologies based on single nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. He presents ultrasensitive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at nanoscale and recently developed magnetometry protocols that use quantum error correction as a resource. Jelezko also discusses applications of diamond colour centers for dynamical nuclear spin polarization.
