All-new 2024 BYD Song L - Best Fastback SUV Song L Specs Features BYD has revealed the upcoming Song L, which is the Chinese brand’s new all-electric fastback SUV built on the e-Platform 3.0. the Song L will compete against Geely’s Zeekr 001 and will reportedly go on sale in China this year . in terms of exterior design, Byd Song L features a concept known as Dragon Face, characterized by a sealed front grille and slim headlights on either side. Connecting to the DRL LED lights, a chrome strip spans both sides below the bumper, complemented by a trapezoidal air intake in the front. The overall sleekness is heightened by black lines running along the front bumper. The new song L side contours boast a smooth and flowing design. The door handles seamlessly integrate with the car, and the A-B pillars are adorned with black stripes, creating the illusion of a suspended roof. The alloy wheels feature a two-tone brushed finish with a 5-pointed star pattern, while the frameless windows add a modern touch. The song L rear showcases a Fastback style, featuring a sloping rear and a double wavy roof spoiler. It is adorned with a set of LED tail lights designed fashionably, spanning the entire area. The 2024 BYD Song L will measure 4,840 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width, and 1,560 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. Notably, the vehicle is designed with an approach angle of 16° and a departure angle of 19°, making it well-suited for light off-road use. The Song L interior features a dark gray color scheme accentuated with a touch of fluorescent green, all wrapped in luxurious suede material. It boasts a full LCD instrument panel, a spacious floating central control screen, and an impressive 50-inch Augmented Reality Head-Up Display. The in-vehicle system is powered by the latest generation of BYD’s DiLink operating system, coupled with the DiPilot advanced driving assistance system. This system supports over 30 functions, including driver fatigue monitoring and autonomous parking. The center console is equipped with two cup holders, a 50W wireless charging pad for mobile phones, and a crystal gear shifter. Additionally, the lower front section of the center console is hollow, serving to augment storage capacity. The Byd Song L seating configuration accommodates five passengers, with seats enveloped in a blend of leather and suede materials. Notably, the front seats offer electronic adjustments and feature both heating and ventilation functionalities. BYD Song L 2024 was developed on the e-platform 3.0 platform . In terms of powertrain, it will be available in both a single electric motor. and dual electric motors. In the model, a single electric motor is placed on the rear axle. There are two sizes of power to choose from: 150 kW or 201 horsepower and 230 kW or 230 horsepower.
