Why is building a Progressive Edge important? Gradually increasing your edge angle and then maintaining it throughout the turn will help you maintain control over your turn direction and speed, especially when tackling steeper terrain. The goal is to achieve a smooth, continuous buildup of pressure throughout each turn rather than transitioning abruptly from a flat to a high edge angle.
