Heidi Douts recently tooled around Long’s Park on a cool afternoon. She was riding in her DPV, or dog-powered vehicle. Aya, a Rottweiler, pulled Douts on a three-wheeled cart fashioned from a bicycle and a jogging stroller. Her tongue out, her eyes bright, Aya lifted her feet in a sprightly manner, pacing it off like a thoroughbred before breaking into a full gallop.
