Line and Wash | Painting a Half-Timbered Building in Stirling, Scotland
A fine liner pen and watercolour sketch of 1 Banks Street, Stirling. This building was drawn with a Uni-Pin Fine Liner Pen in 0.2 on A6 watercolour paper and coloured with Windsor and Newton Professional Watercolours.
Last week I went on a day trip to Stirling in the glorious sunshine! Amongst the stone houses this half timber and brick building really stood out. There was a plaque on the side explaining it was the work of an architect who didn’t like to play it safe. (John Allan - if you want to look him up!) I’ve made this my line and wash video for the week. No voiceover today because I’m a little short on time this week (and the voiceover takes twice as long as the drawing and painting!)
