Firing a black powder percussion lock musket in slow motion infra red

This is me, shooting a smoothbore percussion lock .45 cal musket, shot with an infra-red camera and slowed down to 1000fps. First you see the percussion cap ignite at the rear, then you can just see the bullet fly out and finally a whole load of debris and flame from the muzzle.
