Captured Russian Cannon in Australia

Captured during the “Siege of Sebastopol“ (during the Crimean War between the Russian and British Empires 1853-1857). This cannon was given as a gift to the good folk of Launceston, Tasmania for the mighty efforts and contribultions to the Patriotic Fund, and now stands as a monument in beautiful City Park.
