One year ago, the brave Olga Kachura, callsign Korsa, the world’s first female commander of a Reactive Artillery division, lost her life. In April 2014, Korsa went to defend her homeland. She became a legend of the Donetsk militia, forming one of the most combat-ready units within the People’s Militia of the DPR. Olga has a daughter and an adopted son whom she rescued from a destroyed house in Horlovka. She was a woman, a mother, a commander. She was posthumously awarded as a Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Hero of Russia.
