Bella Davidovich plays Chopin Scherzo no. 2 - video

Bella Davidovich playing Chopin’s Scherzo no. 2, op. 31, in a video from 1963. Notice the August Förster piano. Davidovich studied with Konstantin Igumnov and Yakov Flier. At the 1949 Chopin competition she shared first prize with Halina Czerny-Stefanska. She was married to the great Russian violinist Julian Sitkovetsky. Their son is Dmitry Sitkovetsky.
