Chopin Etude Op 10 No 9 F minor Rubinstein Rec

I heard Rubinstein play this etude about the same time that this recording was made (1959) except that it was in Los Angeles. I remember that he began his recital with Schuberts Impromptu D 899 No. 3 which was followed by Brahms Sonata F minor Op. 5. The etude was in the Chopin group that was played during the second half of the recital. and I thought that it was the most beautiful performance of this etude that I had ever heard. One of Rubinsteins encore pieces was the Scriabin Nocturne for Left Hand, one of the many compositions in his vast repertoire that he never recorded. In fact, he never recorded any Scriabin.
