A visit to Istanbul

This film shows a number of wellknown historical objects from Istanbul, for example the blue mosque, Hagia Sofia a former church and later mosque, today a museum, the Topkapi palace with view across the Bosphorus to the asian part of Istanbul, the Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazar. The second part of the movie shows a boattrip from Sultanahmet (Eminönü) across the Bosphorus to Üsküdar on the asian side of Istanbul. Finally some pictures from the Galatabridge, connecting Sultanahmet and Beyoglu. F
