Singers from Sardinia

Two male quartets from Sardinia visited Gooik, Belgium during the traditional music week where we were celebrating the “year of the drone“. This style of singing, cantu a tenore, is regarded by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. These young men are carrying on this tradition of their grandfathers, with great passion!
