Building the Perfect ThinkPad X230 Part 1: Complete Disassembly, Re-pasting, Fan, SSD, RAM
Part 1 of 3: Building the perfect ThinkPad X230.
Note: The chip that is called “GPU“ in the video is actually the chipset PCH ;).
The Thinkpad X230 is getting disassembled completely in order to re-paste the CPU and replace the fan. On the way it will also get a new SSD, more RAM and a faster WWAN card.
In the next video, I will retrofit a classic 7-row ThinkPad keyboard into this machine! Stay tuned :).
