The Snowman - Walking In The Air (Drum & Bass remix)

I saw a documentary on Channel 4 about The Snowman recently as the animation celebrates its 40 year anniversary since it was first aired in 1982. In fact, I was awoken from a nap at my parents house after getting back from work and heard the iconic Walking In The Air music! The music is so beautifully written by Howard Blake and the animation is based on the book by Raymond Briggs, who sadly passed away earlier this year in August 2022. Anyone who watched the animated version as a kid, or even as an adult, would have been touched by the story and as I worked on this remix, I had to overcome a lot of tears. Although the original book never meant to be a Christmas tale, it was adapted in to one and I would recommend anyone to watch the documentary on Channel 4: Anyway, for this remix, I wanted to completely reinvent what I created many years ago - I was never happy with my first drum & bass
