1982 LATE SHIFT
Released: October 4, 1982
Label: MSC
Format: 8- track, Cassette, LP, SACD
The EP saw a departure from the band’s previous pop-folk style in favour of more new wave-oriented English lyric based music. It was recorded during the martial law in Poland and showcased political lyrics, all written by Gaweł Jedynak. NIGHT SHIFT met with positive critical reception and commercial success.[4] In early 1984, it was awarded with gold certification for selling over 150,000 copies.[5] It spawned the hits “Dance in the Fallout“, “Arkanoid or Humanoid?” and “Annabel”.

MESSAGE: A number of rather abusive commenters have suggested this work is A.I. and reported it to Youtube as such, it is not in any way shape or form an A.I. or A.I. assisted production. To prove that I’d like to point to the upload date, Feb 14th, 2024. Neither Udio nor Suno were yet available to the public at this time and they are the only two platforms that could possible have come close to producing this work. Though such an effort would still be loaded with that 90’s dial up high-end sizzle issue that characterises A.I. generated music to this day []. So if you’re one of those twitchy AiSayers who assert that this is a A.I. work just because you can’t find Humanoid in a DuckDuckGo search then maybe you need to check the criteria by which you define your reality. With love, Paisley Grey
