La Vuelta 2021 Stage 11 Highlights

Day 11 and a classic Vuelta stage that has featured several times in the past. Favouring strong climbers for the challenging hills, this year’s stage is shorter than its predecessors around the ‘muro’, at 133km long, that will see a breakaway likely form, with the mountains being too much for the sprinters. That is not to say they won’t feature however, with an intermediate sprint also packed in, the stage is likely to be climatic and fast paced. Coming down from the climb in the final kilometers riders will climb at an average of 9%, towards Valdepeñas de Jaén to take the win. Subscribe to GCN for cycling as you have never seen it before!
