SMALL BIG TRIPS - Venice Beach, CA

It took... and how! Finally today February 18, 2022 and I returned to my house/studio to finish what I started filming on a fabulous day with a lot of sun, but quite cold (January 6th) was when I first visited the Venice Beach canals . I knew that one morning would not be enough so I decided to map the city and divide it into filming zones. Of course, my day-to-day and the work of a lowly mortal like me interferes with what would have been 2 full days of filming, but it wasn’t quite like that. It took me a lot longer to visit and incorporate everything I thought was relevant and most fundamental. My second visit was only made on the 28th of January, which I dedicated to filming Abbot Kinney Blvd almost exclusively. On the 4th of February, it was time to visit the artworks scattered throughout the large murals.
