The World’s Most Dangerous Military Tradition?

Why are these Men shooting their own feet off? Well this is the closest to rocket jumping you’re going to get in real life. It’s a tradition by Saudi Arabia’s west called the Tasheer war dance. These men jump and simultaneously shoot at the ground to make it appear like they’ve been propelled in the air by the shot, so literally fake rocket jumping. Oh and they do it barefoot too. The tradition goes back hundreds of years and was done before battle to motivate the soldiers and to intimidate the enemy. A bit like the Haka performed by the Māori’s of New Zealand. They even teach children how to perform the dance but they use less gunpowder than the adults for safety reasons. Now luckily there’s no projectile loaded into the weapon for both children or adults but that doesn’t mean it comes without risk. Bruce Lees son famously died to a blank round as the lead tip of a bullet was still in the barrel of the handgun when it was fired on set.
