Wonders of Zeeland (4k)

In this movie ’Wonders of Zeeland (4k)’ I’ve tried to capture some of the most beautiful parts of Zeeland (Sealand), a Dutch province in the South-West of The Netherlands. Most of the footage is shot underwater in the ’Grevelingenmeer’ and ’Veerse meer’. Grevlingenmeer is a former estuary of the North Sea, located between the islands of Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duiveland, on the border of the provinces of ’Zuid Holland’ and ’Zeeland’ in The Netherlands. In the context of the Delta Works, the estuary was cut off from the sea by the Grevelingendam (1965) and the Brouwersdam (1971). After the closure, the Grevelingenmeer became the largest saltwater lake in Western Europe and is one of the most populair divingspots of North-West Europe.
