Leak cause is generally unknown, but may be due to trauma, repetitive movement or arthritis. Are #ganglioncyst (or Bible Bumps) serious? Generally speaking, ganglion are fairly common and nothing to worry about - usually harmless, non-cancerous, don’t usually spread, and often disappear on their own. Main problem with wrist cyst is they can become unsightly and can even hurt and limit function. Should ganglion wrist cysts be removed? Removal of a symptomatic ganglion cyst can be beneficial. Some people with a ganglion cyst may never experience pain or limited movement, and may never need surgery.
