Pet Lamb ’Black Mask’

Pet Lamb were a hard Rock band from Dublin, Ireland. They formed in 1991. The band signed to Blunt Records (owned in part by Andy Cairns of Therapy?) in 1993 and released their first EP, Paranoid from the Neck Down. After this EP, the band signed to Roadrunner Records, released the Black Mask EP, before their debut album, Sweaty Handshake. Between these records, Blunt released a second EP by the band, Spent, which was also included on the Roadrunner record. The band recorded a second record for Roadrunner Records, High Anxiety in November 1995 in New York with producer Martin Bisi, but were dropped before the album was released. They returned to Blunt in 1998, and released the Tenderness album. The band split up in 2000. Dylan Philips and Dave Lacey now play in an easy listening band called Dinah Brand, releasing an album entitled Pale Monkey Blues in 2004. Brian Mooney currently plays in an instrumental noise rock outfit called 3 Pin Din.
