Harvard President Claudine Gay resigns amid anti-Semitism row

The embattled President of Harvard University has resigned following outrage over her testimony on anti-Semitism to a congressional hearing. Dr Claudine Gay has since been accused of plagiarising her academic work. In over a month since the Capitol Hill hearing, outrage has been sparked from Jewish students who believe not enough has been done to protect them on campus. What appears to have forced the resignation of Dr Gay has been prolonged accusations of plagiarism in her own academic work. She now holds the title of having the shortest tenure of any president in the history of the university which has existed since 1636.
