Moscow celebrates 75th anniversary of legendary WWII parade
Several thousand Russian servicemen are marching through Red Square in commemoration of an historic 1941 military parade in Moscow. Today’s parade involves more than 5,000 people, many dressed in WWII-era uniforms, and features famous ‘Katyusha’ rocket launchers and other historical weapons. On November 7, 1941, Soviet Army troops marched through central Moscow before heading straight to the frontline to fight the Nazi army.
