Pacific 231 (1923) Arthur Honegger transc. for two pianos Nicolas Kingman (2013)

Honegger’s 1923 Mouvement symphonique depicting a locomotive transcribed for two pianos by Nicolas Kingman (2013). It’s just a midi version here. It’s hard to believe this was written 90 years ago. It still sounds so modern. The piece uses one of the first examples of metric modulation. My metronome markings are slightly slower than in the Salabert orchestral score and I found a few errors which I have corrected with footnotes so you can see both notations.
