IRyS - Berserker (Metal Remix)

Remember when I said that Till The End of Me was my favorite IRyS song? Yeah, that song might just be dethroned. Between this and Here Comes Hope, IRyS seems to have a knack for more hardcore stuff. I wouldn’t have really guessed as much judging from her voice alone, but she manages to make it work. This song is meant to be the part of Quarter Bravery’s concept that deals with anger (at least going off the album cover), and you can definitely tell listening to it, even discrediting the amazing instrumental -- the chorus is the angriest IRyS has sounded on a song. Just like with my Here Comes Hope remix, my goal for this one was to take the metal elements of the track and enhance them, adding a few new riffs in there as well. Trivium was the main inspiration for this (specifically their songs that used 7-string guitars), with their heaviness fitting wonderfully with the mood that the original song was going for. Plus, Alex Bent is a beast behind the kit, so his style bled a little into the drum
