Major Pentatonic Scale | CAGED Overview 5/10

Garret’s Guitar Lessons Now we’re taking the chord shapes and adding pentatonic shapes to them. Again, we’re using the CAGED chord shapes to see these pentatonic scales all over the neck. These scales are going to be used extensively in a wide variety of genre’s. It’s very important to start and end on the root note of the chord! To connect the shapes: C Shape’s 4th finger is A Shape’s 1st finger A Shape’s 2nd, 3rd and 4th finger is G Shape’s 1st finger barred G Shape’s 4th finger is E Shape’s 1st finger
