Ubuntu GNOME LTS is the latest release of Ubuntu official flavors. This release ships with GNOME Shell and support the most of GNOME packages, powered by Long-term supported Linux kernel series 4.4, Fixes the sharing panel in GNOME Control Center, Support an experimental Wayland session. but it’s not installed by default.
