A scene that is brought closer to you claustrophobically and at the end leaves a feeling of helplessness, not exactly what you call a happy ending. Filmed in a former prison called “Sedel“ in A River Crossing hometown Lucerne, the video clip underlines the feelings of the song. The building has been bought by the city in 1838 and been used as a prison throughout the years until 1975. In 1980 loud youth riots raged in the touristic city so the government decided to dedicate the no longer used building to the youths of the city who developed it to a cultural centre of central Switzerland. For 40 years now, Sedel is a well known institution for alternative music culture and left political activists. A River Crossing feels deeply connected to the Sedel and is honored to perform TORN in those venerable halls.
