Piazzolla - Nightclub 1960 from “Histoire du tango“ arranged by MUZÉN Although Piazzolla, known as the father of contemporary tango, wrote many masterpieces, “Histoire du tango“ may be the most popular of them all. Originally written for flute and guitar, the piece is divided into four movements, each a snapshot of tango’s development in history. Nightclub 1960, the third movement, portrays the tango’s rapid rise among the general public. The music depicts eager audiences rushing into nightclubs to revel in the newest fad. In this performance, Ensemble Muzén will be performing its own arrangement of this movement for violin, oboe, clarinet and piano. 탱고의 거장, 피아졸라의 많은 명곡들 중에서도 가장 많은 사랑을 받고 있는 ‘탱고의 역사’입니다. 제목 그대로 탱고의 역사적 흐름을 악장별로 반영하여 플룻과 기타를 위해 쓰여진 곡입니다. 3악장인 ‘나이트클럽 1960’은 탱고가 급속도로 인기를 끌면서 나이트 클럽으로 음악을 듣기 위해 달려가는사람들을 나타내는 곡인데요, 바이올린, 오보에, 클라리넷 그리고 피아노의 구성으로 저희 Muzén이 직접 편곡해보았습니다.
