stewart brand and some friends staged this multi media show at the ’longshoresman hall’ in January ’66 with bill graham co-ordinating it interesting and wild idea that actually got off the ground!...it included side shows of ’America needs Indians/an acid test/open theatre/light shows/tape center activities/ron boise thunder sculptures/rock bands/dance troupes/the jazz mice/the congress of wonders comedy group/Owsley lsd and of course the pranksters brought along a whole truckload of electronic equipment to add to the fun and mayhem!...groups playing were ’the marbles ’recently morfed into the loading zone..)/the grateful dead/big brother & the holding in all a big success and it made money for the organizers too!..this film is from the ’ben van meter’ archives and is a head spinning account of the 3 day psychedelic happening.....
