Ambient Guitar & Soundscape “Meditation #4” (Strymon Timeline, Bigsky, Volante, Meris pedals)

The Moscow autumn is something that may last half the year. But definitely those were the last warm sunny days before the long rainy season starts. Great time to play dreamy soundscapes though! This is one take video of the meditative ambient guitar. The core of this performance is the Strymon Timeline’s Duck delay that is sensitive to you playing volume. It is hardly heard when you play, but leaves long lasting tails when you stop playing. You can use it to make long pads and textures together with another delay pedals. Another interesting effect is the Strymon BigSky’s nonlinear reverb. It sounds like a wave of very short rolling delays that are distinctively heard. At the end of the video I used the Volante’s looper with “tape stop” effect.
