Bob Dylan - With God on Our Side (Live on BBC, 1964) [HD FOOTAGE]

This is one of the very few surviving television broadcasts from Bob’s early days. He recorded this in early May 1964, and it was subsequently aired on 12 May 1964, five days before his legendary concert at Royal Festival Hall, which you can listen to here (MAKE SURE you follow the link in the description for the complete concert): FUN FACT: This clip was part of a program called Tonight, hosted by Cliff Michelmore. A 17-year-old David Bowie (then known as Davy Jones) appeared on the same program in the same year as Dylan, as part of a story on Bowie’s newly founded “Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Long-Haired Men“. No doubt Dylan would have cheered on such a crusade.
